QUESTION

I bought a car (did all paperwork and put the down payment down). Now dealer refusing delivery unless I pay extra

Asked on Feb 11th, 2021 on Contracts - Florida
More details to this question:
I was supposed to receive delivery of a car today. I purchased it pre-owned from a larger dealer (toyota). We finished all paperwork with financing and I put down the down payment. They are now refusing to deliver the car until I pay for all the service fees that they deem as required (new clutch, tires, and a ton of work totaling over $3000). They have also re-listed the car on their website for over $3000 more now than our deal was for. What are my options?

You would need to have a lawyer review the transaction and paperwork to figure out what is going on. It makes no sense that a dealer would do maintenance work on a used vehicle that THEY deemed required at thier expense. Some facts are missing here.
