Asked on Jul 08th, 2013 on Contracts - Florida
More details to this question:
About a year and half after my chapter 13 bankruptcy I did a refinance on my house. I had a second mortgage that I thought was dissolved in the bankruptcy. I now have been informed that my second mortgage is still due buy a company I never heard of. Am I responsible for that payment since it did not show up in the title search during my refinance.

You will need to talk to your bankruptcy lawyer. YOu need to remove the bad word "thought" from your statement to start to figure out your options. if the mortgage was discharged, the answer may be no. If it was ommitted or reaffirmed, then the answer might be yes.
