Is it possible to sue another attorney in Chicago?

More details to this question:
I hired an attorney to stop the foreclosure process of my home. He never represented me in court or filed any paperwork on my behalf and as a result I lost the home and 1500. I reported him to ARDC, both they are of no help.

If you believe that your attorney did not properly represent you, and that this caused you to lose your case, you can sue the attorney for malpractice.
