Is my lease agreement void?

Asked on Dec 09th, 2016 on Breach of Contract - New York
More details to this question:
My landlord was not present during the signing of my lease agreement. I met with his assistant when I signed the lease. His signature was not on the lease when I signed. With that in mind, would it affect the terms of the lease?

No.  This is typically how it is done.  If you want a signed copy, just ask.  I am sure management has one signed by you and him.

If the landlord countersigns the lease you are bound by its terms.
