More details to this question:
My mother (69) after loosing her husband of (35 yrs and 2 heart attacks and illness) became concerned with her health and her home/ land . She spoke to her grandson and they decided and made a verbal agreement that she could live in her home until her death , she would pay all taxes, bills, repairs but the house and land would go into her grandsons name, he was to follow will to divide contents with other grand children and the house would be his upon her death . Deed was signed /filed for $1 price . All was fine until Her grand son decided it was his home and all in it down to her coffee pot before her death . He is now threatening to kick her out of the house and claiming all contents of the house/ yard/ storage. he has changed the locks and will not give her a key. She is afraid to leave the house . He comes and goes scaring her while she sleeps saying he can be there any time he wants. Does she have any recourse she was under much stress and illness when this was signed.

The question ids likely whether your mother had the capacity to convey the real property at the time the deed was signed. Was she coerced? Was ther fraud in the inducement t sign? Did she have the mental capacity to understnd what she was doing? These are a matter for a Court or jury to decide. As for personal property, it does not follow that a conveyance of real property includes personalty in a structure/house located on the property unless this is specifically provided for in a conveyance.
