QUESTION

Is this a binding contract in Florida?

Asked on May 02nd, 2016 on Breach of Contract - Florida
More details to this question:
A hotel offered me a contract for a wedding. I made a change (adding three words) and signed the contract. The hotel has not gotten back to me with a copy of the contract. In addition, they have not provided the web link they said they would that would have allowed me to put down a deposit. Does this mean that the contract is not binding at this point?

Likely not. Changing words is technically a counter offer. If they dont accept you have no deal.
