QUESTION

Joint Venture, paid money but no product produced.

Asked on Apr 21st, 2015 on Breach of Contract - Florida
More details to this question:
I entered a joint venture with a programmer, He was to code, and I was to market the software. I have paid him $5,500 and he hasn't completed it, and REFUSES to complete it. Says if I want the software, I have to pay him the "other $5K" or so that he would have made in the Joint VEnture. I can't give him those funds without selling the software.. the point of a JV. The biggest problem: He is outside of the USA. He is in Romania. Am I screwed?
