I'd suggest meeting with an attorney (particularly a contract or contract litigation attorney) to have the contract reviewed and discuss your options. If an option, you may also find it helpful to retain the attorney to take care of the situation (again, if you have a way out). Remember, too, that just because you may or may not have a stong legal argument, there are practical considerations that may also be helpful in resolving the situation. An attorney will be able to discuss these with you... with the goal of coming up with a game plan to find the best possible solution for you.
