Misinformed about a contract can I get out of it?

More details to this question:
Personal training contract. He "read" the contract to me. I signed it electronically through their keypad thing. I asked if I could cancel at any time he said yes. I tried to call to cancel it after I realized that their price was crazy. They told me I was obligated to the contract.

It's possible, but without seeing the contract, it is hard to say the strength or weakness of getting out of the contract. I'm familiar with the situation, but without more details and a review of the contract, it will be tough for an attorney to give you any definitive answer. I'd suggest meeting with an attorney (particularly a contract or contract litigation attorney) to have the contract reviewed and discuss your options. If an option, you may also find it helpful to retain the attorney to take care of the situation (again, if you have a way out). Remember, too, that just because you may or may not have a stong legal argument, there are practical considerations that may also be helpful in resolving the situation. An attorney will be able to discuss these with you... with the goal of coming up with a game plan to find the best possible solution for you.
