A students mother accused my son, the teacher, of stalking her daughter on facebook. Both parties attended a hearing, before a judge, and he found the communication on facebook between the two, to be ok, and not inappropriate, and said that my son could go back to school and teach, and the student should be transferred to another class, and the two should keep away from each other. Both parties agreed. Now, the School District is suspending my son, from his teaching job, without pay. Why????
That does NOT sound like a ruling that what your sone did was OK, but rather a go your separate ways result in a restraining order case. They dont transfer students to other classes and say keep away if what occurred was "ok". Your son will have to deal with school district case, but since he is a grown man, will have to handle his own business with lawyers, not have parents ask around, since it is doubtful you actually know the whole story.
