Negligence of the Shipping company

More details to this question:
I had a item which was shipped from amazon by shipping company called lasership and they just randomly gave the package to someone whom I don’t know and claimed the package as delivered can I sue the shipping company for negligence.

Yes. But do a chargeback on the charge card saying you never got the goods. This is time limited so do it ASAP.
