Reposession of ATV, no written contrat

More details to this question:
I sold my Florida registered ATV to a young man for $500.00 12 months ago without a written contract. He paid me $100.00 a few months ago, but now refuses to pay the balance. He will not return calls or texts. Can I legally repossess the ATV or do I have to go to small claims court?

I would chalk it up to experience that you need to protect yourself better in such matters. You will unfortunately be spending dollars to get dimes no matter what you do.
