Husband was going to sell to someone. They gave a $1000 deposit. Then they backed out. Then they said yes they wanted it. Husband had since found someone else to buy it for more money. The first guy said they had a verbal contract. No papers were signed. He says he is contacting an attorney.

Your husband needs to retain an attorney because he likely has no idea what he is doing regarding the sale either.
