Small claims against Moving company

More details to this question:
I relocated from Miami, Fl to California 4 months ago and the shipping company still has not shipped my belongings. I have a paid contract with reciepts, emails of broken delivery dates, a claim with the BBB and a police report. They said they would compensate me for the inconvenience once I recieve my belongings which I still don't have a delivery date for.

You will need to hire a lawyer to handle what is called a CARMACK case - if you have a move across the country I doubt this will be a small claims case.
