Our wedding photographer was paid-in full plus dinner equating to 1,500 $ that was by check and can be documented as well as the deposit to the photographers account. The contract drafted by the photographer states we should have received the wedding DVD and digital photos by 12-16 weeks section (4) and also should have received "complimentary" engagement photos after 6 weeks. None of the dates were complied with and no date has been set by the company Lauren K. Photography to disseminate the product that we have paid in-full for. I live in Atlanta, Georgia and I am serious about taking action because after multiple attempts to contact and collect our purchased products we have received none despite the claims from the company that a "digital link" was sent. The business' activity as of now beginning to seem fraudulent. ( breach of contract ) Civil and Criminal charges are desired.
Despite your desired filing of "charges" there is not likely a criminal case here (though you could file a complaint and see what the State Atty says) and you will have to fund and initiate and civil action. As ANY litigation case, small claims or not, typically warrants hiring a lawyer, will rapidly find that the expense of actually filing suit will exceed the value in dispute. If you are not willing ro able to spend an inordinate amount of money addressing such an issue, the litigation environment is not likely to provide you a positive result and you may need to revisit someother means of resolution.
