Hi, I made two deposits in the past towards the development of a video project. The project was negotiated by another person whom I do not have a business relationship with anymore. The contract has no cancellation or refund policy. I do not want to pursue the contract anymore. Is it possible to get my deposits back? I am in Florida and the company is in NY. What are my options if the company refuses to refund

You will either need to contact law enforcement if this was a scam or file a civil lawsuit against the person here or in new york as appropriate.
