More details to this question:
I paid a friend for the purchase of a motor cycle trailor $1800.00. She has not delivered the property I purchased. I have the last check I wrote her and a copy of the text she sent saying that $330.00 was what I owed to pay it off. It has been sense early December and she has not yet delivered. Is there a statuate of limitations to take her to court and where do I go from here. I have sent a certified letter of Intent to sue. And no response as of yet.

Filing a lawsuit is a fairlt complicated process that can't be taught in a blog or online blurb. You can try your local law library for some guidance but your best bet is to retain a lawyer.
