Voided contract

More details to this question:
If I purchased something and had to sign a contract and what I purchased, the dealer didn't sell that item anymore. Does that mean that the contract was voided?

If you sign a contract to purchase something and the seller no longer has that item, then the contract is voided because you did not get what you bargined for.
