we are being pressure to pay for something we are not recieving

More details to this question:
we purchased a time share for ourselves an our children. we were promise airplane tickets .we purchase, no tickets, no timeshare, only a contract that we paid .$2000.00 down we owe $1700.00.We wrote to the state of fla . They tried to contact them no response.The state told us to get a lawyer.
