What are the methods to accept term and condition in websites.

More details to this question:
Is it possible for a website to make me accept their terms and condition only by having a link to the legal notice section, which in there they have specified this "Once an order has been placed and an approval form (payment receipt) has been received by e-mail, you are bound by the terms of our business agreement " This sentence is only available in legal notice page of the website and while ordering the service from the website there is not check box or anything else indicating that i have accepted the terms and condition. can they do that?
