QUESTION

What can I do to get the money that is owed

Asked on Aug 28th, 2014 on Contracts - Florida
More details to this question:
Back in 2006 my dad made a deal with a person to pay my dad $500 month for my dad's house until June 2014 and my dad could live in the house. My dad past away in 2008 and the person stop making the payments. The person told me he is going to set up a trust fund for me with the rest of the payments. When I turned 18 I called the person and ask about the trust fund and he told me there was no trust fund. There is no payments being made at this point and there is a contract. Then I found out he is renting the house and the house is not in his name is is still in my dad's name.

Nothing, its not your house. You will likely have to hire a probate lawyer to start a probate action and deal with the who gets the deed to the house. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our office at 1-800-922-6442 for a FREE consultation.
