What does a response filed and unsigned mean?

More details to this question:
I am suing someone for not paying me what is under contract. We gave this person the lawsuit and now it shows up online saying it was filed and unsigned. What does that mean? Did they file it or they just doesn't want to respond to the lawsuit?
