what happens if i have signed a promisory note and not obey it

More details to this question:
i have signed a promisory note with the car dealer for buying a car and next day i bought a vehicle from a different dealer. Now i got a letter from their Attorney asking me to buy the car or call for settlement. Will the promisory note hold good and will there be any legal issues.

of course it will "hold good". You signed it and now you own 2 cars. You will need to retain a lawyer to try to sort this out, but starting point is you now have 2 cars.
