what happens when your contract is discussed with another party without your consent

More details to this question:
I was disputing payment amount with my daycare and refusing to pay. She gave me the impression my ex husband has also signed the contract - I can to find out he was not on the contract and she met with him without my consent and discussed my contract with him. Is this a breach of contract?

Does the contract have a confidentiality provision? If not, and unless the information discussed was protected by some statute (such as HIPAA), there is no prohibition against disclosing it to a third party.
