QUESTION

What type of lawyer do I need?

Asked on Jan 15th, 2014 on Breach of Contract - Florida
More details to this question:
We have a 28 ft boat that needed inboard engine work. We contracted a local boat repair company to remove the engine and they took it to their business February 2013. They still have our engine, they do not return calls or the few times they finally did call back, they have a new excuse why they haven't returned our engine. We have already paid for all the parts that they said it required. We try calling regularly and visit the business with no results.

Sounds like you may have a contract breach issue. Not sure why this has gone on for a year, but you should retain an attorney and take action immediately.
