More details to this question:
I invested $1900.00 to start a business with a friend. She was suppose to purchase certain items with this money, but did not. She has told so many lies about what happened to the money. I have come to learn she has done this before to her family and place of employment. will I be able to sue her for the $1900.00 and court cost? I live in Jacksonville, FL and she lives in Cairo, GA. Should I file in Florida and Georgia?

You're probably better off considering this an expensive lesson as it will likely cost you more money and effort to go to court and even if you win, you STILL have to collect the judgment which is very very difficult unless she has crap tons of money. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to call ou office at 1-800-922-6442 for a FREE consultation.
