Can an in-home care company in Tennessee legally charge a client for holiday time (increased rate) but not pay the employee holiday pay?

More details to this question:
Well I think I fit all the details in the first part, I work for an in-home care company in Tennessee and they have charged a client I work for for holiday time which is a 50% increase in rate, but they are not paying the employees who worked with that client on their holiday rate. This seems wrong. Thanks!
