Can I sue for severance pkg offered

Corp buys out franchise, franchise deal was to emp. Dbl severance 1 rule was if 30 miles were added to ur commute, I fell under that rule but they never triggered the option, they just told me u r over this now, and to go 2 days a week. No option, over time the area grew bigger. Now they want me there 5 days a week. I am 50 yr old and kinda feel like they r trying to get rid of me! Have been with this co. For 25 yrs and never had a performance issue! But now I felt like a criminal in an interrogation just the other day, please help don't know what to do, they r a lot smarter than me!
