More details to this question:
I went to a pawnshop and sold some rings that I didn't know were stolen. This happened in Amarillo.

Yes. If you are in recent possession of stolen items, you can be charged. Never pawn anything for someone else.

You can be charged very easily. Too late now. Don't say anything to anyone and use your right to remain silent if arrested. Hire an attorney if you get arrested.
