QUESTION

Can I get a restraining order to keep my daughter's ex at bay for threatening her?

Asked on Sep 20th, 2013 on Criminal Law - Texas
More details to this question:
My daughter's ex boyfriend who lives in Texas while we reside in South Carolina has made several threats such as burning our house down, not to get on his bad side or feel his wrath, revenge is his specialty. He is domineering to her and hateful keeping her hooked. I have tried to cut out all communications with him. He is 19 or 20, she just turned 17 and it's been quite a battle.

Try and call the police in his vicinity and the police in your area. Even if the police can't do anything, at least you have it on record if something tragic happens.
