I have served over two years on probation and paid all of my fines and fees and have completed all of my community service and my PO wants me to get off early and says she will put the request in next time we meet. Do I need a lawyer to get off early in Texas? Or will I be notified by her or by mail if I am granted early termination. Thanks
You do not need a lawyer if the p.o. is putting in the request. It will be up to the judge, but having your p.o. request is a good sign. If it is granted, you will be notified - usually by mail.
