Can I sue Wal-Mart for being wrongfully accused of stealing?

More details to this question:
On January 6 2012 I was wrongly accused, arrested, and charged with stealing from Wal-Mart! Today I finally got my case dismissed. Can I sue them?

You can try but the question will be whether you will win. Just because a case is dropped does not mean that the person was falsely accused. Sometimes witnesses fail to appear for court or the State agrees to dismiss as part of diversion.You will have to prove that Wal-Mart knowingly lied and falsely accused you, no easy task.
