Can you legally date a minor in Florida?

Is it legal in the state of Florida to be in a relationship with a minor that is 17, if the relationship does not include any sexual activity what so ever?

Sure, as long as you are a minor also. The cutoff for bringing sexual battery charges, even when it is consensual, is between someone who is 24 or older and someone who is 17.

Yes you can "date" a minor as long as there is no sexual or lewd activities whatsoever. Of course, it might be legal to engage in sexual activities depending upon the other person's age, for example if the other person were 18 years old. Nonetheless, best to play it safe and wait until the minor becomes an adult.
