You should consult with a lawyer to decide if there is a benefit to your making a statement. It is rare that we suggest that a client give an interview but there are exceptions. It may be possible to get immunity from prosecution if the information that is needed is important to the police or district attorney. It is always worthwile to have a lawyer with you if you go to an interview.
