QUESTION

How can I get a restraining order against my sister?

Asked on Dec 29th, 2012 on Criminal Law - Texas
More details to this question:
I have a very abusive sister, sometimes physically, but mostly verbal, this is upsetting the entire family. She claims others are mentally ill, to solidify her argument. Very slanderous. She has almost caused my mother a heart attack, 6 times. Mom is 78.

If she touches anyone, then call the police and have her arrested. If this happens, then you will be able to get a restraining order. If there is no concern about physical abuse, then you cannot get a restraining order.
