My friend was in the process of buying a car off her son she had put $300 on the car when he changed his mind and decided he wanted the car back. Wendy (mom) told him no problem return my $300 and I will give it back. This happened after she was pulled by county sheriff for no tag or registration in which her son had to vouch to the officer that his mom was in deed buying the car. Officer Ryon called Wendy threatening grand theft charges he is great friends with her son. Wendy even offered 50% of what he owed and she would return the car. Her son went and put the title in his name and pressed grand theft charges all because he didn't want to pay her back. How did a civil matter between mother and son turn in to a felony case against a women who has never been in trouble? The city police officer is in conflict of interest. The son has falsified a police report against his mother which is immoral. Your direction in this matter would greatly be appreciated.
I am positive that this is not the whole story. There is a police report and witness statements that must be investigated. She needs to hire a criminal defense attorney who has decades of experience.
