More details to this question:
I was arrested for eluding officers in my vehicle and was cited for 2C:29-2b. I received a court date and I need to change the date. It may sound as if I am taking it lightly, but I have a very important test to take at a firm for which I am seeking a job at. It is an open house event, therefore I cannot change the date at the firm. In addition, what are possible outcomes to this situation. I was nervous at the time and was just not in my right mind. It is my first criminal charge.
I previously answered this question to you. Now you are asking how do you change the Court date. Not sure if you are in Municipal or Superior but I am presuming Superior as that is an indictable offense. You will have to call the Court and explain why you can not be there, but it is a long shot. An attorney would have a better chance of getting it adjourned. If it is Municipal, then it should not be a problem.
