If I am on a bond will I get arrested on the spot if I renewed my Driver's License?

I am currently on a bond from San Antonio and my Drivers License is expired. I need to get them renewed. I was told if I went to get them and there was a warrant I would be arrested on the spot. Probably extradited to San Antonio. I was in Harris County and SA was to get me in a length of time but they did not show. I need my Drivers License to get a job, cash my payroll check, etc! HELP!

If you are on bond then you don't have a warrant. Best to call a bail bondsman and ask whether you have any warrants. Call a company in the county where you think the warrant is out of. If you have no warrants, then you can go get your license. If you do have warrants, yes, they could pick you up there.
