There is no way around the minimums. In fact, you'll be lucky if you get the minimum. Most courts have "standard offers" for charges like driving on a suspended license with priors and, in my experience, the standard offer always exceeds the statutory minimum. The good news is is that in most courts, the judge will give you the option to do your time in a work alternative program. Every county has a different name for it SWAP, work furlough, work release, etc. Hire an attorney if you can afford to. If not, ask the court to appoint the public defender. Even if you plan on pleading guilty, you should have the guidance and advice of an attorney before you make any decisions.
