Is this slicitation of prostitution?

Asked on Dec 02nd, 2013 on Criminal Law - Texas
More details to this question:
I sent a text and mentioned sexual acts. I never mentioned money or a meeting place in any form. I got a call from some guy that obviously did not match the escort ad and told me if I did not pay him right now in person with a reload moneypak or cash he would continue with a police report. Is this a scam?

Yes, this appears to be a scam. It is is illegal for anyone to ask for money to withhold prosecution of a crime. The danger you face if you send sexual material over the phone is that you may be communicating with a minor or someone posing as a minor. It may also be harrassment if it is unsolicited. Is a terrible idea and can couse major problems.
