More details to this question:
In the offense details on my background check, it doesn't list anything under "Conviction date" or "Charge category" or "Arrest Date". However it does list "Public Intoxication" under offense. So was I charged with anything or not?

It sounds like you were arrested but never taken to court. But you would know what happened.

This charge may not show up on your background check if you were not taken into custody and merely cited (given a ticket). So you may still be charged for it but the arrest wasn't recorded because you were not booked.

If you were arrested, then you were charged. How the background check looks depends on the company that does the report.
