What can I do about a false police report?

More details to this question:
A false police report was filed against me resulting in my arrest. I have multiple witnesses that will testify for me. I was accused of forging a check which the accuser loaned me. Because I did not pay them back immediately, they filed a false report and went to the bank and told them I stole the check. As I stated I have a witness that was there when she gave me the check. The worst part is that it was my sister.

You could possibly file a civil action against her for malicious prosecution. There has to be a determination in the criminal court that there was not probable cause.
