Hello, I have been called by worthless check processing center and they said they have a case for me from bank one for a pay day advance. and they are stating they will submit paperwork to the court to have me arrested. im not sure if i used the pay day advance online in 2008. he asked what can i pay now and he will tell his head person that i made a payment and they will either approve or deny it. he stated i only had an issue with my tag before and my record is clear. how would he know that?

When someone tries to collect money from you on an old debt, you should always get an opinion from a criminal attorney prior to making arrangements to pay.  The debt may be old enough that the debt collector is precluded by law from suing you for the money.  However, if you make a payment, you could give the collector the opportunity to file a suit against you.  Please speak to a attorney prior to making any decisions.
