Pay the ticketyou can probably do it by credit card over the telephoneand find out what notice is sent to the department of Motor Vehicles in FL. and when. It will probably be awhile before this is completed in FL. so he should try to get something temporary that proves he has paid because the police will npt know and he could be arrested. DJW

He should clear the ticket up. That is what he should do.

If Michigan is notified of an out-of-state license sanction they will impose a sanction of their own. It is best to clear up the ticket ASAP, especially if you will be driving in FL soon.

Driving while license suspended is a crime in Florida and so if he is driving in Florida and pulled over, yes he will be arrested.

Pay up, it is still probably cheaper than an attorney at this point if he is guilty of the infraction and does not have a valid defense.
