Will I get my misdemeanor erased from my record?

More details to this question:
I went to jail for a class b misdemeanor charge for pocession under 2 oz. They put an entrely different first name of the official documents that I recieved after seeing the judge while in jail.

In Texas, a Conviction for Possession of Marijuana is not eligible for Expunction. If your case ends up being dismissed or potentially dismissed through Deferred Adjudication, you'll have options for either Expunction or a Motion for Non Disclosure.

If that is all that they got wrong, then the record will be there unless it gets expunged. Usually, the conviction will have your thumb prints which would then tie into your county, state or federal identification number.
