Texas. Sheriffs came to my house on 911 call because my ex girlfriend broke in and assaulted new girl I picked up at the bar. Both left before cops arrived. I let police in my house to make sure nobody was being assaulted and on there way out one cop pointed out a cut straw on livingroom table by laptop pc. Then demanded to know where the drugs were. He gave me a consent to search form which I signed because I was not hiding anything. Well he found 1.35g of meth abd a pipe in my bedroom end table. Then a bong in the kitchen cabinet. They arrested me and charged me 1-4g. None of this was mine and 2 days ago the girl I picked up at bar came by and said she would sign a affidavit and testify at trial that it was all hers which it was. Will the DA dropp the case. If not is there a jury in the world that would convict me with her testifying that it was her’s. I am 34 and have a spotless record. She is on the other hand has drug charges from the past. I have a lawyer but can't meet with him till next week. Was wanting a second opinion.
