More details to this question:
My friend called me an said he got pulled over with herione in the car he was with his other friend. My friend bought it but when pulled over said the other guy bought it cause he had previous charges, the cop believed him an let him go. If the person who got arrested says he didnt buy it and shows his lawyer the text messages from my friend saying let go get some can my other friend still be charged. He did not get charged today but does that mean he cant get charged in the future even though he bought it and it was in his car????

Update Your Profile
the police can charge your friend with possession at any time. if the evidnece points towards your friend and away from the oher person in the car, then your friend would ber charged and the other person exonerated. in addition, if your friend has no criminal convictions, your friend would qualify for PTI [pretrial intervention] which would allow for the charges to be dismissed. the other person in the car is not eligible because he/she has a criminal record. this could ber a happy ending. we would like to represent your friend. ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600 ext 235. please call to discuss.
