A friend being accused of crime he didn't commit

More details to this question:
A friend of mine is in a bad situation he is being accused of a murder with 2 other suspects they have one of them and are looking for another but he is being accused based off hearsay . he was with them after the crime happened in a different location from the crime scene and was just there to visit the suspects witch he is friends with but the mother of the arrested suspect which is her son and witness against him and some other family members of the arrested suspect are saying he (my friend) was with the suspects also at there house after the crime burning evedince and talking about it but they have no proof he denies knowing anything about the crime and denies being with them during the crime how does he show he is innocent he is accused basically because he knows the group of suspects and was with them after the crime happened so they say guilty by association
