QUESTION

After completing probation, how does one use their judicial diversion?

Asked on Apr 07th, 2019 on Criminal Law - Tennessee
More details to this question:
I was arrested and convicted on drug charges in 2012. I was given two years probation. I was given a diversion that I assumed would be activated once I completed my probation agreement. I had a house fire years ago and lost all the paperwork I had on my case. I do still owe on court costs. What is my next step in using my diversion to get this felon off my record. I desperately want to be a functioning citizen in the work force. Thank you for any information you’re able to give me.

Go to court clerk of the court that granted you diversion and talk with them about how to get the charge dismissed and expunged.
