More details to this question:
My husband entered the U.S with a turist visa on 2006 he got shot on his arm with a gunshot. The state of Texas paid for his operation only we've talked to some lawyers about this case but noone wants to go for it. I have papers that he received uppon this assault that he is eligible to get money and his citizenship but they didn't do nothing when it happened is it to late for us now or can we still reopen this case for him to get something/anything. We live in Houston TX and we have been married 7 years and have 2 girls and a baby on the way. Which lawyer should I go to reopen the case?

My advice is for you to contact an experienced immigration attorney with a AV or higher rating here on martindale hubbell. the immigration attorney will know the steps to take in order to take advantage of your husbands status as a victim of a shooting.  At at this point you do not need a criminal attorney.  I don't think it's too late. But waste no more time. See a qualified immigration attorney with a good rating and good client reviews here on Lexis and Martindale Hubbell.  Best of luck to you.
