I was found guilty of speeding. Also there was an accident. I was driving and another car came into my lane a swiped the side of my vehicle. The driver and I were pulling over for accident officer pulls up behind us. He stated that I was speeding. I was thinking he saw the accident. The other driver admitted to the accident. He was given ticket for improper lane change and I was given one for speeding. I went to court was found guilty and judge saw an accident ticket was attached and fined me $750, 10 community service, and a risk reduction course because the officer said I caused accident. They were not able to pull up accident ticket on my court date. Can the judge order me to take a DUI class for a speeding ticket? Is it worth appealing? Thank you
Sounds messy - you should consult with an attorney to determine if viable appeal - better is case was heard at the municipal, magistrate or probate level instead of state court - what was the name of the court?
